Draw Analysis Friday 21st December: Monster Jackpot

Draw analysis

With Christmas just days away, the final pre-Christmas EuroMillions jackpot was a monster €102,000,000, and we think Santa may have had trouble fitting that in his sack. Christmas often brings large jackpots and this year was no different and with the results now in, it’s time to see what those winning numbers were!

The EuroMillions results for the Friday 21st December draw are 2, 12, 15, 34, and 50; the Lucky Stars 3 and 4 joined them. Despite the big jackpot and high ticket sales, no one matched the top prize.

Now for a closer look at those winning numbers. Number 2 was the lowest ball drawn, last out over a month ago. Then we have number 12, the second time this month that has been out as a main ball. Number 15 is next and we haven’t seen that drawn in a while, last out in early November. Next is number 34 and that’s a long overdue ball we haven’t seen drawn since the summer, last out in July! The final main ball for the evening is number 50, still the most drawn ball of them all and last drawn back in late September.

The Lucky Stars 3 and 4 joined those main balls making up the winning set. It’s the third time this pair has been drawn together in recent months, out twice in September they make for a hot pairing. However they didn’t make up a winning set back then and they didn’t prove lucky on 21st December either with no one winning the top prize.

That news means a jackpot rollover, which means the Christmas Day jackpot is an estimated €110,000,000! The biggest winners on Friday were three players who matched the second prize, each collecting €489,376!
