Draw Analysis Friday 8th March: Big Rollover Jackpot

Draw analysis

After a string of rollovers, Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot was up to a massive €63,000,000! That’s an exciting top prize and if you bought tickets for the draw then you’ll be keen to check the EuroMillions results.

Those results are now in and the winning numbers for the 8th March rollover jackpot are 17, 18, 19, 24, and 40; the Lucky Stars 4 and 8 were also drawn. New is that no one has won the top prize.

If we look at those numbers we see a string of consecutive balls, maybe that’s why we have another rollover. Let’s take a closer look at the numbers. Number 17 was the lowest ball drawn on Friday night and it’s the first time this year we’ve seen that as a main ball, last out back in December. Number 18 is next and we last saw that out a few weeks ago at the end of February. Number 19 is next, completing a string of three consecutive balls, and that was out just last Friday. Number 24 is next and we haven’t seen that drawn since back at the end of January. The final main ball of the evening is number 40 and that’s out for the first time this year, a long overdue ball last drawn back in November.

Joining those main balls are the Lucky Stars 4 and 8. That pair hasn’t been out together in more than six months and did not prove lucky for players on Friday either. No one matched all the numbers to win the top prize and it’s another rollover.

The biggest winners in Friday’s EuroMillions draw are seven players who matched the second prize, each collecting €176,678. The next EuroMillions jackpot goes up for grabs on Tuesday night and has a top prize worth an estimated €75,000,000!
